oooooh, i'm halfway there

joni here. woke up this morning in denver! i spent 17 hours on the road yesterday with two of my friends who have so graciously offered to make the trip to redwood with me. 17 hours down, 17 to go.

(recap: i'm interning with the national park service this summer in redwood national park in northern california. i'll be working with the park's historical landscape architect to do archival and field research in particular parts of the park to put together cultural landscape inventories for those sites. i'll also be working on some more land management-type projects. more info on that later.)

i stopped by design workshop's denver office this morning and met with a few people, including an lsu alum who's been there for about six years. it was great to check out their studio and learn about their workflow.

loving denver! here until tomorrow morning, then driving to twin falls, idaho, then on to portland. spending memorial weekend there, putting my friends on planes back to louisiana, then i'll be off to redwood.

til next time,
joni
